Ramanathapuram District, Mannar Sethupathi Trust and Ramanathapuram District Collector Archery Association organized Nobel World Archery Program today. The competition was held at the Raja Higher Secondary School playground on the Ramanathapuram-Madurai National Highway.
Continuous archery was held from 7:00 am to 2 pm. In that, 7 students from 7 schools including National Academy, Mohammed Sadak, Infant Jesus, Krishna International, AVMS Matric, Raja Public School in Ramanathapuram district participated in the world record event.
2022 Nobels have achieved the world record of shooting an arrow in less than 5 hours. The previous world record was to shoot 1500 arrows in 5 hours. It is noteworthy that they have shot 2022 arrows continuously to break that record.
National Ball Badminton player Vijay presided over the event and inaugurated the program by waving the flag. Organized by Raja Nagendra Sethupathi on behalf of King Sethupathi Memorial Trust, Ramanathapuram District Archery Association President Dr. Rajeev, Ramanathapuram District Skating Roll Ball Association President Ramesh Babu, Walia Honda owner Rajaram Pandian, Master Association President Senthilkumar, Ramanathapuram District Collector Murugesan and school principals and principals participated as special guests. All arrangements for the event were made by Ramanathapuram District Archery Association Deputy Secretary & Instructor Madhupreetha and assistant coaches. The event was witnessed by a large number of public and sports enthusiasts.
